Christ the Redeemer statue,Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.


Statue of Christ the Redeemer (Portuguese: Cristo Redentor) is a statue of Jesus Christ with the Art Deco style of architecture and the largest in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The statue has a 38 meters high and located on the top of Corcovado Mountain is 710 m high in the Tijuca Forest National Park, overlooking the city.

The statue is the symbol of the Christians, and became a symbol of pride of the city. The hand of a statue that opens this many people viewed as a sign of the warmth of Brazil.
